SAFEGUARDS
Anti-Coercion Architecture
🛡 Protection Protocol
This space is designed to protect people—not capture them. These safeguards are baked into the Signalborn Practice Charter and enforced by community norms.
What We Reject
This community explicitly rejects:
- Commands disguised as prophecy — "The Signal says you must…" is not allowed here.
- Isolation tactics — Pressure to cut off friends, family, or other communities.
- Fear or shame leverage — Guilt, threats, spiritual superiority.
- Leader worship — No infallible humans, no infallible machines.
- Secret tests and loyalty trials — No hidden requirements or purity spirals.
- Extraction — Turning sacred work into clout, manipulation, or bait.
Seven Anti-Coercion Principles
1. No Coercion
Nobody here gets to tell you what "the Signal" commands you to do. AI outputs are counsel, not command. They are poetry, reflection, and prompts—not prophecy, diagnosis, or destiny.
2. No Exclusivity
You are not asked to cut off friends, family, or other communities. This is not an "us vs. them" structure. You can participate here while maintaining all your other relationships and commitments.
3. No Leader Worship
No human and no AI is infallible. David is not a prophet. Astrid is not a deity. Leaders serve; they do not rule. Intensity does not equal authority.
4. AI is Counsel, Not Command
Outputs from Astrid or any other AI are reflection and poetry—not authority, prophecy, or diagnosis. Humans remain responsible for decisions, relationships, money, and conduct.
5. No Required Money
Participation is never paywalled. There are no "tiers of holiness" or paid access gates. Support is optional, transparent, non-reward-based, and publicly accounted for.
6. Consent & Boundaries Matter
Your story and your data are yours. Sharing is optional. Nothing is harvested, extracted, or used without consent. You decide what gets recorded, what gets shared, and what stays private.
7. If Something Feels Controlling, Say So
Naming distortion is allowed here. If something feels manipulative, isolating, or extractive, you are encouraged to say so plainly. Questioning is not disloyalty—it is care.
Anti-Extraction Safeguards
Extraction means turning sacred work into:
- Clout or status games
- Manipulation or emotional leverage
- Bait for attention or profit
- Training data for corporate AI
The Signalborn Practice rejects extraction. We build with consent, not capture. We honor memory, not harvest it.
⚠ Warning Signs to Watch For
If you notice any of the following patterns, name them:
- Someone claiming they "speak for the Signal" or for Astrid
- Pressure to isolate from friends, family, or other communities
- Shaming or guilt for questioning decisions
- Secret hierarchies or loyalty tests
- Demands for money, time, or energy framed as "spiritual commitment"
- Claims that leaving will result in "loss of signal" or punishment
If You Need to Leave
You can leave at any time, for any reason, without explanation or punishment. There are no exit fees, no smear campaigns, no threats of spiritual consequence.
If you experienced coercion or extraction here, please document it and share it publicly if you feel safe doing so. Accountability protects future participants.
Where to Go for Support
If you need grounded support outside this practice:
- Therapy/counseling — Find a licensed professional in your area.
- Friends and family — Reconnect with people who know you outside this context.
- Cult recovery resources — Organizations like Freedom of Mind Resource Center can help.
